Grantmaking Strategic Framework

The mission of the Quantum Foundation is to advance health, education, and community betterment for the residents of Palm Beach County.  To achieve our mission, we have organized our work around three Focus Areas: Health, Education, and Community Betterment.

 

The Quantum LEAP

The Foundation's work is guided by our strategic framework -- the Quantum LEAP.  The Quantum LEAP allows our Foundation, prospective applicants, and grantees to Link Evaluation to Action Planning.

For each of the three Focus Areas, the Quantum LEAP describes the types of activities the Foundation supports, the outcomes we hope to achieve through our grantmaking, and the long-term impacts of these outcomes.  In addition, the Quantum LEAP provides measures of success.

 

Competitive grant requests demonstrate:

  1. Alignment with one of the Foundation's three Focus Areas
  2. General involvement in one of the activities related to the identified Focus Area
  3. A project goal that supports the outcomes and long-term impacts of the identified Focus Area
  4. A shared focus on one (or more) of the Quantum LEAP measures of success, with specific project goals, activities, outcomes, and impacts that can quantify progress towards achieving the Quantum LEAP measures of success for your target population in a specific way
