The Quantum Neighborhood Initiative Fund

Overview

The Quantum Neighborhood Initiative Fund (QNI Fund) was established in 2008 to support community health improvements within neighborhood surrounding our new administrative headquarters.

Since then, approximately $1,000,000  in grants were awarded to collaborative grassroots and innovative projects with the potential for transformational and sustainable impact on the health of this neighborhood.

Current Funding Available

In February 2010, the Quantum Foundation Board of Trustees approved the availability of an additional $500,000 through the QNI Fund.

QNI Fund Letters of Inquiry will be accepted from May 24, 2010 through June 28, 2010.

To be competitive, QNI Fund LOIs must describe grassroots and innovative community health projects with the potential for transformational and sustainable impact on the health of the neighborhood bounded by 45th Street to the north, Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard to the south, Flagler Drive to the east, and Australian Avenue to the west.

Proposals requesting $25,000 or less from the QNI Fund may be eligible for expedited review and funding determinations.  QNI Funding is limited to no more than $150,000 per grant, with a grant period of no more than 12 months.
